Long Service Awards 2024
The Moderator of the Church of Scotland, Rt Rev Sally Foster Fulton presented long service awards ,which totalled an astonishing 6000 years, to church members of the Presbytery of Forth Valley and Clydesdale at a ceremony in Hamilton St John’s Church on Thursday 14th March 2024.
Those members receiving Long Service Awards from the West Kirk were :
Allan Thomson with 36 years service as an ordained elder.
Dave Kendall with 33 years service as an ordained elder.
Lillian Baillie with 28 years service as an ordained elder.
Alex Fraser with 28 years service as an ordained elder.
Marjery Tordzro with 26 years service as an ordained elder.
Laura Fleming with 25 years service as an ordained elder.
The Rt Rev Sally Foster Fulton, in her address to the awardees, emphasised her gratitude for their dedication to service to Christ through their faith, hope and charity.
We too in the West Kirk offer our thanks for their service to Christ.
