Website Scam Alert!
Please be aware that there is an on-going scam affecting this website and others in the Church of Scotland. A fake website supposedly connected to our church is asking for donations and promoting a fundraising lottery. The Church of Scotland have issued the following statement.
SCAM ALERT
The Church of Scotland Law Dept. has been made aware of fake websites which are promoting a Church of Scotland fundraising lottery – both at a national level and also purporting to be individual churches.
The Church of Scotland Law Dept. has been made aware of fake websites which are promoting a Church of Scotland fundraising lottery – both at a national level and also purporting to be individual churches.
These websites look very professional but are nothing to do with the Church of Scotland. A key indicator is that the web address being used misspells Scotland with two ‘c’s.
Staff at the National Offices have reported this to the appropriate authorities as a matter of urgency.
If any members have concerns about these fake websites, they can contact the Law Department via email on LAWDEPT@churchofscotland.org.uk .

The new church of East Kilbride West Kirk and Stewartfield Parish Church of Scotland was formed on 1st April 2026 as part of the Mission Plan of the Presbytery of Forth Valley and Clydesdale.
